What I'm looking for

I am looking for a role that allows me to utilize my scientific knowledge and interpersonal skills while contributing to patient care and community health initiatives.

I am an aspiring healthcare professional with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences from Auburn University, where I also minored in Psychology. My academic journey has been enriched by hands-on experience in clinical research and community service, allowing me to develop a strong foundation in scientific knowledge and interpersonal skills. I am passionate about patient care and eager to contribute to the healthcare field.

During my time as a Research Assistant in Dr. Rita Graze’s lab, I conducted genetic assays to explore gene regulation and immune response in Drosophila. This experience honed my skills in bioinformatics and experimental planning. Additionally, I designed a social psychology study analyzing perceptions of sexual assault, utilizing data analysis techniques such as ANOVA and Qualtrics. My diverse experiences have equipped me with the ability to work collaboratively in fast-paced environments, as demonstrated in my roles at Target and Publix Super Markets.

As a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., I have led health-focused community service initiatives, including drives for HIV awareness and breast cancer education. I am committed to making a positive impact in my community and look forward to leveraging my skills in a healthcare setting that values patient care and scientific inquiry.
