What I'm looking for

I'm looking to write software and help others write it—especially in Python and Django—while improving team practices, training developers, and helping people enjoy building software.

I've spent 20+ years writing software, mostly Python and Django, including django-braces—used in millions of projects, with some work incorporated into Django itself. At O'Reilly, I built product features, search capabilities, reporting dashboards, and an internal toolkit that deploys Kubernetes applications in under half an hour.

I've also led engineering and onboarding teams, created 40+ Python, Flask, Django, security, and web-development courses at Treehouse, and taught developers at every level. I enjoy helping people write software, learn Python and Django, and improve how teams work together.
