At WellCare of NC, I called Medicaid members to assess their needs and connect them with community resources. I documented member interactions and processed more than 350 referrals while meeting internal data standards.
I also delivered health education on topics including preventive screenings and wellness, and took part in professional development focused on health equity and social determinants of health.
As a Summer School Program Intern with Richland School District One, I coordinated daily activities and supported check-in and transitions for youth participants. I also designed and led enrichment programs, including team sports and art projects.
I earned a Bachelor of Science in Public Health from Johnson C. Smith University and am pursuing a Master of Public Health at Northern University. My coursework includes epidemiology, community health, health promotion, and public health policy.
