What I'm looking for

I’m looking for an estimating role where I can own detailed takeoffs, coordinate subcontractor/vendor pricing, and deliver accurate, well-documented bids—leveraging value engineering, plan review, and procurement-aware execution to win and perform projects.

I’m a multi-scope estimator with experience across mechanical, civil sitework, commercial concrete, and residential land development. I specialize in detailed takeoffs, level subcontractor pricing, and delivering accurate bids on complex construction projects.

In my current role as an Estimator – Mechanical & Plumbing with Jennings Mechanical, I perform detailed mechanical and plumbing takeoffs, prepare bids, and coordinate vendor pricing. I also use value engineering to level scopes and identify scope gaps and cost variances before submission, while keeping my estimate documentation organized for project teams.

Previously at James White Construction, I supported sitework estimating through detailed takeoffs and plan/specification reviews. I coordinated subcontractor pricing, validated quantities using Excel comparisons, and helped reduce bid risk by supporting scope reviews, documentation, and quantity verification with clear scope clarification.

Earlier in my career, I built a strong foundation in drawings and project execution with structural design work and later expanded into land development management. That background supports how I communicate across disciplines, stay schedule- and procurement-aware, and align quantities to execution plans using tools such as Bluebeam PlanSwift, On-Screen Takeoff, and Microsoft Excel.
