Kedir Mohamed
@kedirmohamed
I build humanitarian information systems, GIS analysis, and decision dashboards for crisis response.
What I'm looking for
I’ve delivered humanitarian information management for Mercy Corps, UNICEF, UNHCR, and WFP across Sudan, Somalia, Ethiopia, and Afghanistan. My work turns field and partner data into maps, dashboards, gap analyses, and practical decisions during complex crises.
For the Sudan Cash Working Group and Cash Consortium Sudan, I built Power BI and Tableau dashboards combining beneficiary, geographic, and financial data to visualize CVA coverage, gaps, cost-efficiency, and transfer values. I also developed PDM tools, market assessment frameworks, geographic targeting systems, and data-protection protocols for multi-agency coordination.
With UNICEF and UNHCR, I led cluster information management for Nutrition, Education, Child Protection, Protection, CCCM, and ES/NFI responses. I produced information products, managed data flows and web platforms, strengthened partner capacity, and supported coordination across large humanitarian networks.
During 13 years with WFP Ethiopia’s VAM Unit, I developed geospatial infrastructure supporting food-security early warning and vulnerability analysis. I’m now expanding into AI-powered full-stack development with React.js, Node.js, REST APIs, and generative AI to strengthen humanitarian analytics.
