Katja Håheim
@katjahheim
Postdoctoral chemist specializing in organic synthesis, catalysis, and strained-ring chemistry.
What I'm looking for
I am a postdoctoral chemist with a PhD in organic chemistry and extensive experience in synthesis, catalysis, and strained-ring methodologies.
My research has focused on divergent synthesis of indolo[3,2-c]quinolines, neocryptolepines, and related tetracyclic systems with demonstrated biological activity, and I have published multiple peer-reviewed articles and a patent.
I have held successive postdoctoral roles at ESPCI Paris-PSL working on photocatalysis, mechanochromic molecule design, and autocatalytic reaction networks, collaborating closely with academic and industry partners.
I also have teaching and supervision experience, maintaining analytical instrumentation and mentoring bachelor’s, master’s, and PhD students, and I aim to apply my synthetic and collaborative skills to research-driven teams.
