What I'm looking for

I seek a supportive environment where I can empower women and families through midwifery.

I am a Certified Nurse Midwife with extensive experience in providing comprehensive care to women throughout their pregnancy and postpartum journeys. Since 2015, I have been developing midwifery services at Waldo County General Hospital, where I implemented innovative practices such as waterbirth and nitrous oxide for pain management. My role involves not only managing antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum care but also offering emotional support to families during these critical times.

Prior to my current position, I worked as a Registered Nurse in various settings, including Labor & Delivery and outpatient care. My experience encompasses a wide range of responsibilities, from triaging patients to performing essential procedures like amniotomies and IUD placements. I have a strong commitment to education, having precepted both CNM and RN students, and I am passionate about fostering a supportive environment for women and their families.
