Trained to first assist surgeon during cesarean section, circulate, and provide PACU care. Experienced in IOL techniques, aseptic peripheral IV insertion, and assisting with unmedicated vaginal deliveries and pushing techniques.

Completed new graduate nurse program and provided total comprehensive nursing care to patients, newborns, and their families through individualized plan of care while incorporating physician orders. Implemented couplet care model with assignments of 10 patients and delegated tasks to NAs and unit clerk.

Restocked labor rooms and operating rooms, transported samples to laboratory and medications and blood products back to unit. Provided exceptional bedside manner for expectant and new mothers and their families before and after birth.

Monitored patients' vital signs, ensured safety, and assisted with daily activities including eating, bathing, walking, and elimination. Provided concise chart documentation and reported to RNs.

Cared for children between the ages of 5 months old to 7 years old, consoling children when needed, changing diapers, potty training, feeding, and outdoor play. Read to and with children, helping to meet their developmental goals.
