What I'm looking for

I am looking for a role that allows me to grow in pediatric or oncology nursing, with a focus on patient education and teamwork.

I am a dedicated registered nurse with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Concordia University Texas. My experience spans various roles in pediatric and oncology settings, where I have developed a strong foundation in patient care, critical thinking, and teamwork. Currently, I work as a Pediatric Private Duty Nurse, providing specialized care for children with complex medical needs, including epilepsy and gastric tubes. My role involves not only administering medications and monitoring health but also educating families to empower them in managing their loved ones' conditions.

Previously, I served as a Research Nurse at Baylor College of Medicine, where I contributed to clinical studies on movement disorders. This experience honed my skills in data collection, patient assessments, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. I have also worked in oncology/hematology units at Texas Children’s Hospital and Dell Children’s Medical Center, where I provided care to young patients undergoing chemotherapy and other treatments.
