Compassionate aspiring registered nurse delivering safe oncology care and thriving in high-acuity, patient-centered environments.
What I'm looking for
I’m a hardworking, compassionate aspiring registered nurse with a strong passion for providing quality patient care and making a meaningful impact in healthcare. I’m dedicated to advancing my nursing education and skills through continued learning and clinical experience, with the goal of improving patient outcomes as part of a dynamic healthcare team.
In a high-acuity oncology setting, I delivered direct patient care under RN supervision while supporting safe and compassionate treatment. I assisted with central line care, port access, sterile dressing changes, and other advanced nursing procedures, and I applied neutropenic precautions and infection control practices for immunocompromised patients—communicating empathetically with patients and families navigating complex diagnoses.
Across my clinical rotations, I’ve built comfort in fast-paced environments including emergency triage, IV therapy, blood draws (venipuncture), and EKG/telemetry monitoring. I’ve also supported labor and delivery and progressive care by performing vital sign collection and interpretation (including orthostatic), monitoring telemetry, assisting with newborn assessments and postpartum care, evaluating pain and mental status, and managing intake & output when ordered.
