Kara van Wyk

I’m a motivated, detail-oriented professional with experience in Graphic Design and videography, and I enjoy tackling challenges through clear communication and teamwork. I deliver meaningful results by breaking work into tasks, focusing on solutions, and learning fast.

Through my education in Visual Arts and Visual Communication Design, plus a Higher Certificate in Graphic Web Design, I’ve built a strong foundation in design and web-focused creative work. I also completed programming-related learning (“Programming for Everybody”) while gaining hands-on placement insight.

At Sea Monster Entertainment, I worked in various roles over 700 hours (2019–2021), collaborating with animators and teams building apps—using both my Degree and Advanced Certificate in Web Certifications. Later, I became a full-time Admin and Graphic Designer, supporting them first on admin work and then joining the graphic design team.

I’ve also strengthened my content and performance skills as a Chat Moderator, managing multiple accounts and engaging with subscribers while selling content. More recently, I’ve worked as a Graphic Designer at Rize Agency, doing fast turnaround photo/video content editing (AI and human content), layouting designs, and supporting web content with quality and self-sufficiency in mind.
