Kanishk Kumar

I’m a Data Scientist with an MSc in Data Science from HSE University and 2+ years of hands-on project experience in Machine Learning, Python, and NLP. I bring a strong foundation in statistics and big data through Spark, and I’m especially interested in MLOps and Generative AI.

I build practical, deployable models: I’m proficient in Python and model deployment with Flask, Docker, and FastAPI, along with MLOps tooling like Celery and MLflow. In recent work, I developed an end-to-end LSTM time-series pipeline for real-time stock price forecasting, hitting RMSE of $2.45 and optimizing retraining latency to 8 seconds, while also building fine-tuned transformer NLP solutions like BERT for BoolQ QA.

I also enjoy turning data into measurable operational impact. As a Resident Engineer at PCI Prime Group (Escorts Kubota), I automated hardware analytics and reduced manual tracking effort by about 15 hours per month; at AIR INDIA (AISATS), I analyzed 100+ support tickets and reduced repeat incidents by about 20%. I’m now seeking an entry-level role where I can apply data-driven solutions to real-world problems.
