I’m a Senior Backend Engineer with 10+ years of experience designing scalable microservices and distributed systems for fintech and data platforms. I focus on building high-availability architectures that perform under peak load—supporting systems handling ~6K RPS and millions of users.

At PhonePe, I designed and engineered backend microservices for Recharge & Bill Payments, serving millions of users with ~6K RPS peak traffic. I improved reliability (~6K RPS) by isolating external provider latency using provider-wise queue segregation (RabbitMQ) and circuit breakers (Hystrix), reducing repeat provider-related incidents by 50–60%. I also built event-driven microservices with RabbitMQ for asynchronous messaging and fault-tolerant service communication.

I’ve maintained and enhanced 4+ production microservices within a distributed architecture of 15+ interconnected services. For high-scale fintech incidents (~6K RPS), I led RCA, set up provider-level alerting, and defined operational workflows with external providers, reducing repeat latency and timeout-related failures by ~50–60%. I also supported onboarding of RENT & EDU payment categories, contributing around 40% revenue within the recharge and bill payment domain prior to regulatory changes.

Previously at Quantinsti Quantitative Pvt Ltd, I built backend architecture from scratch for trading and backtesting platforms using Node.js, MySQL, and AWS, including the in-browser coding platform Quantra with Python Jupyter Notebook integration and AST-based IntelliSense. I’ve also developed scalable APIs and backend data services at Innoplexus Consulting using Node.js, MongoDB, and ElasticSearch, and I bring a strong mentoring and quality mindset through 30+ technical interviews, code reviews, and support for engineers on distributed systems.
