I’m a Senior Backend Engineer with 6.7 years of experience architecting and building distributed systems, microservices, and high-scale data platforms. I bring a strong foundation in Java, Spring Boot, and Python, with hands-on expertise in API design, data pipeline engineering, caching strategies, and cloud infrastructure.

At PayPal, I’ve architected backend microservices and internal tools supporting 5,000+ services through containerized deployments with Docker and CI/CD pipelines via Jenkins. I designed the Enterprise Reliability Scoring (ERS) system, a large-scale data platform processing ~5M records daily using JUNOdb for caching and stability score computation—driving data-driven prioritization.

I also built high-scale reporting for 100K+ merchant settlement reports, adding automated missing-delivery detection using Splunk, SignalFx, and CAL. To improve operational speed, I engineered inter-zone deployment pipelines between PayPal and Azure, reducing deployment time from hours to ~5 minutes for systems serving 500K+ requests/day.

I’m motivated by reliability, test-driven development, and automation that reduces escalation friction. I write comprehensive unit and functional tests across services, and I’ve built internal agentic platforms and MCP servers handling 7K–10K queries/day to streamline incident analysis and dependency tracing.
