I’m looking for a team where I can own architecture and delivery—balancing reliability and compliance with fast iteration—while leading engineering practices, mentoring others, and driving cross-functional collaboration from design to production.

I’m a Lead Software Engineer and Solutions Architect with 20+ years driving the design and delivery of large-scale systems in regulated healthcare and financial environments. I enjoy balancing reliability and compliance with feature velocity, and I’m equally at home in whiteboard sessions and hands-on code reviews.

Most recently at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts, I served as technical lead while coordinating 50 concurrent contractors to enable continuous delivery to AWS and a private cloud. I led Scrum-based workflows (Jira, GitLab), owned Java Spring Boot microservices supporting major React and Angular applications, and guided engineering decisions end-to-end.

Earlier, I was a Founding Engineer at PropelAuth, where I owned a Rust API for login-as-a-service (SSO, MFA, OAuth 2.0, SCIM) deployed to AWS at scale. I also helped establish engineering practices and delivery reliability through architecture rewrites and process improvements at Clarivate Analytics and strengthened maintainability through mentoring, code reviews, and testing at multiple organizations.
