I’m a senior backend engineer with 10+ years building distributed systems, data platforms, and cloud infrastructure. Most recently, I shipped Go REST APIs for an IoT smart-lock platform at Janus International (Noke), supporting nationwide access control.

At Janus International (Noke), I worked across the SmartEntry device pipeline—from firmware provisioning and gateway routing to command dispatch, business logic, and event notification—using AWS services including RDS, SSM, Lambda, and API Gateway. I also unified Sitelink and Breeze PMS integrations behind a generic Unit/Tenant abstraction, eliminating duplicated client code.

I focus heavily on reliability, security, and performance. I improved core reliability with site-timezone and outage caching and normalized inbound event data to remove downstream parsing inconsistencies, and I remediated high-severity pentest findings across 7+ Go services (including goroutine leaks and JWT/CORS issues). I built team-adopted automated test infrastructure with Playwright (160+ specs across 5 role tiers) and a k6 perf framework stressing production-scale fixtures (100–2,000 concurrent users), and extended the React portal with a new installed-sites UI plus Sentry-based frontend observability.

Before that, I implemented daily ML batch jobs for a Pothole Warning pipeline on AWS in Python, and I automated the infrastructure with Terraform to reduce manual deploy overhead and prevent configuration drift. Earlier, I contributed to a corporate monitoring platform where I built distributed data collection for SNMP/ping/Telnet probes and streaming applications processing 300K events/sec for minute-level operational metrics.
