I’m a self-starter and collaborative Database Administrator with a strong interest in system development, information technology, data, and business analysis. I quickly adapt to new systems and procedures while working in a thorough, committed way to deliver reliable database operations.
In my current role, I handle database security and access control, performance monitoring and tuning, and backup and recovery management. I also support database installation and maintenance, ensuring systems remain stable, protected, and performant.
Previously, as a NOC Engineer, I provided Oracle database support to Vodacom networks and monitored and reported issues related to Oracle databases. Before that, I worked as a Business Analyst, handling data management and analysis, IT infrastructure management, and networking.
I’ve also contributed as an ICT Officer and IT Support Technician through technical support, troubleshooting, system maintenance and upgrades, and user training and documentation. My earlier Compliance Officer experience strengthened my approach to regulatory compliance, risk management, and inspections—so I bring both technical focus and disciplined attention to process.
