At ARAG, I model legal protection insurance claims demand using big data and GLMs to support risk-based, customized pricing. I also conduct portfolio analysis to identify critical customer groups and brokers in property and casualty insurance.
My academic work at the University of Cologne combined machine learning research for connected, autonomous, shared, and electric mobility with teaching in mathematics, econometrics, and statistics. I co-authored a 2025 IEEE CASE publication on data-driven optimization of EV charging station placement using causal discovery.
