Julissa Valdez

I am a Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant and Phlebotomy Technician with hands-on experience triaging patients, performing vital signs, specimen collection, and assisting practitioners with procedures. I document medical information accurately and manage medical records to support continuity of care.

I coordinate accountable care activities including documenting hospital stays and ER visits, communicate with insurance companies to obtain authorizations for specialists, imaging, and medications, and prepare/administer medications as directed by providers. My clinical skills include IV discontinuation, electrocardiography, wound care, sterile technique, and lab equipment operation.

I am currently continuing my education in Integrative Health Sciences/BSN pathway, and I seek opportunities where I can apply my clinical skills, improve patient outcomes, and grow within a collaborative healthcare team.
