What I'm looking for

I’m looking to continue delivering adult psychiatric consultation and education—client-centered, culturally competent, and holistic—while leveraging my CNS expertise to improve outcomes through coordination, training, and evidence-based care.

I’m a Board Certified Clinical Nurse Specialist in Adult Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing with over 25 years of experience across diverse clinical settings. I focus on client-centered care, education, and consultation, with a strong commitment to culturally competent, holistic approaches that connect physical, psychological, and social factors.

In remote and outpatient environments, I’ve served as a primary clinical contact and operations partner—coordinating member outreach, onboarding, enrollment, scheduling, and issue triage, while maintaining continuity of care with medical providers, counselors, and cross-functional teams. I’ve also supported alcohol treatment by assessing readiness for change and educating clients and families on the neurobiology of alcohol use disorder and integrated medication-assisted and behavioral treatment models.

I bring a deep training and leadership foundation from teaching undergraduate psychiatric mental health nursing courses and delivering psychiatric consultation, education, chart reviews, and clinical supervision to interdisciplinary home care teams. I also developed and implemented a psychiatric research nurse role and coordinated an NIMH-funded inpatient pilot study on antipsychotic medication for treatment of schizophrenia, alongside psychotherapy, group leadership, and case management.
