I’ve spent 11 years figuring out how to make K-12 kids actually pay attention. Substitute teaching taught me to walk into new classrooms and win the room quickly, even with zero prep time.

I’m currently a special education paraprofessional, so I adapt instructional approaches to individual student requirements and support students with diverse learning needs. I work alongside lead teachers to help implement individualized learning strategies and behavior support plans.

I’ve collaborated with regular teachers to keep students learning momentum while their teacher is out. I also use educational technology tools to keep students engaged—not just watching the clock.

I’ve built real relationships with students, staff, and parents across the district. I understand that online teaching is still relationship-building, just through a webcam, and I bring that same consistency to every class.
