Directs and administers strategic, operational, fiscal, and personnel activities for therapy departments. Plans and monitors therapy program operations, manages complex therapy projects/programs, and supports budget and policy development.

Responsible for the development, direction, supervision, and administration of patient care for physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech-language pathology services. Managed a ~$8 million operating budget and 30+ direct reports, with accountability for patient satisfaction and quality improvement initiatives.

Supervised rehabilitation staff and supported departmental operations through meetings, hiring activities, and coordinated staffing processes. Participated in process improvement and supported rollout planning, licensure management, and training readiness.

Provided assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and education for adult and pediatric patients, including bedside swallow assessments and videofluoroscopic swallow studies (VFSS). Served as primary pediatric therapist for NICU, PICU, and PCU units and participated in NICU feeding and development team activities.

Completed medical assessment of patients to determine eligibility for acute inpatient rehabilitation. Coordinated with case managers, therapists, and providers to facilitate appropriate patient transitions.

Provided early intervention speech-language services for birth-to-3-year-old children with developmental risks, delays, or disabilities. Developed home therapy programs and educated family members on communicative techniques.

Provided speech-language services for special education through formal and informal language, fluency, voice, and articulation assessments and IEP support. Delivered 1:1 and small group therapy for receptive/expressive language, pragmatic language, fluency, and articulation impairments and served as case manager for student service delivery.

Conducted bedside feeding and swallowing assessments and Passy-Muir evaluations on trach patients in an adult inpatient acute care setting. Provided dysphagia and cognitive therapy and trained patients, families, and medical staff on diet changes and aspiration precautions.

Provided per-diem speech-language pathology services in long-term acute care and skilled nursing facilities. Conducted formal and informal assessments for dysphagia, cognitive impairments, and language deficits.

Provided assessment and treatment for adults in an inpatient acute rehabilitation setting. Treated speech, language, and cognitive deficits and provided services for dysphagia and related conditions including aphasia, dysarthria, and ataxia.

Provided assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and education for medically complex patients with neurological, respiratory, cardiac, and metabolic diagnoses. Performed modified barium swallow studies (MBSS) regularly and developed dysphagia therapy strategies and individualized plans of care.

Provided home health therapy services for children and adults, including assessment and treatment for speech, language processing disorders, articulation, phonemic awareness, developmental disabilities, AAC communication, and dysphagia. Developed individualized home therapy programs to support carryover of independent, functional communicative skills.

Assessed and treated adults in a long-term acute care (LTAC) setting. Delivered speech-language pathology services for adult inpatient patients.

Served as Vice President of Medical Affairs on the New Mexico Speech-Language Hearing Association board.

Served as an executive board member for the Rio Rancho Regional Chamber of Commerce.

Served as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) for Sandoval County.

Earned a Master of Arts in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Northern Colorado (2004–2006).

Earned a Bachelor of Science in Education with a major in Communication Disorders (1999–2004).
