What I'm looking for

I’m looking for freelance design engineering work with product teams, focused on design systems architecture, design tokens, and React and TypeScript component libraries. I also help teams adopt these systems through documentation and enablement.

I'm a design engineer. I work between design and code, and I've been building interfaces since 2011.

From 2021 to 2026 I was the Senior Design System Engineer at Ripio, a crypto company. When I joined there was no shared component language: no tokens, no documented patterns. I built the UI library from scratch in React and TypeScript, including design tokens, components, a spacing system and a typography scale, with tests and documentation so the rest of the dev team could build on it. I also worked on accessibility, on web and in React Native.

Before that I did UI development with Webflow and no-code tools at Bons, a digital agency. Before Bons I spent four and a half years at Pixel2HTML doing frontend for international clients. I started out freelancing in design and frontend, and I led UI/UX and frontend at DONCUPONES. I was also designer and lead frontender at Surattack, a medialab in La Plata, where we won first prize at the Arte Joven 2011 biennial with an interactive installation: servo-driven pyramids that reacted to people's movement through a camera.

I built the entire frontend and UI of Wizbot, a GPT-based customer support chatbot. I design in Figma and ship in React and TypeScript, and AI tools like Claude, Codex and OpenCode are part of how I work every day. I also run microinteractions.dev, a collection of small UI experiments about how timing and easing change the way an interaction feels.

Today I work freelance on design systems architecture and team enablement. What I care about most: design systems, motion, accessibility, and the details that make an interface feel right.

Degree in Multimedia Design (UNLP). Spanish native, professional English.
