Juan Camilo Jimenez Gomez

I’m a backend developer with a solid foundation in PHP/Laravel, Python, and relational databases. I focus on building systems that are reliable from the data layer up through clean REST API behavior.

Currently in my 8th semester of Systems Engineering (GPA 4.1/5.0), I’ve gained hands-on experience building REST APIs, designing normalized relational schemas, and deploying applications in Linux environments. I’m comfortable working across backend logic, data integrity, and operational basics like Linux process and permission management.

I’ve independently delivered complete end-to-end solutions, from inventory systems to contract management platforms with state-machine-style workflows. In Vincly—Contract Lifecycle Management Platform (Laravel/MySQL/PHP/Blade), I built the full contract lifecycle (draft → active → expired/terminated) with complete audit logging, designed the relational schema with stored procedures and database-layer constraints, and implemented RBAC for permission isolation across multi-user operations.

I also developed an Inventory Management System (Laravel/MySQL/Eloquent ORM/Blade) with product catalog, stock traceability, movement history, and low-inventory alerts, delivering full CRUD plus business logic validation using an MVC architecture and separation of concerns. I’m looking for an internship or freelance project where I can add value in backend development, data architecture, or automation.
