International relations professional shaping trade, investment, and cooperation initiatives to strengthen global partnerships.
What I'm looking for
I’m an international relations professional and political scientist focused on diplomacy and international representation. I aim to promote economic development by designing and implementing trade, investment, and cooperation initiatives across public and private stakeholders.
In my internship at ProColombia, I supported the structuring and compliance process, budget monitoring, and implementation of more than 30 cooperation agreements with international and national partners. I also managed international promotional activities to position Colombian exports within regional integration mechanisms such as the Pacific Alliance and the Andean Community (CAN). Using data analysis and market research on non-mining energy value chains, I produced strategic reports that strengthened commercial opportunities across trade, tourism, and investment.
My academic work in political science strengthened how I connect individual diplomatic behavior to foreign policy outcomes, through my thesis on how the personal styles of Colombian ambassadors to the United States influence foreign policy projection. Complementing this, my continuing education on business strategy and competing in domestic and international markets reinforces my ability to translate policy and research into practical, impact-driven decisions.
