What I'm looking for
I am a dedicated suicide prevention advocate and behavioral health professional with a background in criminal justice, clinical mental health counseling, and community advocacy. I have provided over 600 hours of pro bono counseling, led outreach and fundraising initiatives, trained and mentored law enforcement and probation staff, and delivered group and individual therapies using evidence-based modalities such as CBT, MI, SBIRT, and TF-CBT.
My experience includes work in crisis stabilization, forensic and community corrections, juvenile drug court, and outpatient behavioral health where I conducted risk assessments, crisis follow-ups, and coordinated with courts and interdisciplinary teams. I lead presentations and trainings for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention and serve on its board, driving advocacy, volunteer engagement, and community education to reduce suicide and expand access to mental health resources.
