What I'm looking for

I am looking for opportunities that allow me to integrate my academic background in theology with community service, fostering connections and promoting social justice.

I am a passionate educator with a Master of Arts in Theological Studies, graduating with distinction from Moravian Theological Seminary. My academic journey has been marked by a commitment to exploring the intersections of faith, culture, and social justice, culminating in a master’s thesis that examines the Episcopal Society for Cultural and Racial Unity. My work has not only been recognized for its scholarly merit but has also been suggested for publication, reflecting my dedication to contributing to the academic discourse in religious studies.

In addition to my academic achievements, I have gained practical experience as a Teacher Assistant at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke, where I supported various classes and engaged in departmental activities. My volunteer work at St. David’s Episcopal Church has further enriched my experience, allowing me to serve as a Lay Leader and Eucharistic Minister, where I facilitate worship and community engagement. I am committed to fostering connections within the church and the broader community, drawing on my educational background to enhance spiritual and social initiatives.
