Josh Hamilton

At Northern Kentucky University, I lead development for the Chase College of Law, Steely Library, the College of Informatics, and the Honors College. I’ve grown my major-gifts portfolio from zero to 72 prospects and raised $841,600 in major and legacy gifts in FY26 against a $750,000 goal.

I’ve consistently exceeded fundraising goals through philanthropic conversations with alumni, friends, and supporters. I also manage three university volunteer boards and help advance centralized fundraising practices, prospect discovery, crowdfunding, and planned giving.

As Executive Director of Hummingbird Charitable Foundation, I manage a working board, contractors, vendors, donor reporting, and DonorPerfect operations. I implemented stronger donor database practices and a transparent board process for charitable-recipient nominations.

Across Ohio Valley Voices, Africa Fire Mission, St. Vincent de Paul, and Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park, I’ve led fundraising events, donor communications, CRM improvements, stewardship, and development operations. My work has supported major gifts, increased donor engagement, and strengthened nonprofit accountability.
