At CENTURY BANK — NEW MEXICO, I built a Small Business lending portfolio from the ground up and manage a portfolio exceeding $25MM. I originate and guide business loans through analysis, underwriting, structuring, closing, and funding.
I evaluate business cash flow, financial statements, and tax returns to assess repayment capacity and credit risk. I also exercise delegated credit approval authority and ensure lending decisions follow bank policies and regulatory requirements.
Previously, at VERITEX COMMUNITY BANK, I managed a $28MM consumer lending portfolio and led underwriting and loan-processing initiatives. I designed and implemented the SBA Paycheck Protection Program within the loan origination system and developed consumer lending policies and procedures.
