As a USMC Communications Administrator with the United States Marines, I mentored junior staff and worked in customer service. My service also included combat training and water survival training.
After leaving the Marines, I worked at the customer service desk at Total Wine, where I took and delivered online orders, helped customers find alcohol they liked, and worked as a cashier.
I’m studying sociology and Chicano studies at San Diego Mesa Community College. I have an A.A. in Sociology and an A.A. in Chicano Studies in progress, with an estimated graduation date of December 2026.
