Josephine Nassuna

I’m a licensed Registered Nurse in Kampala, Uganda, with 10+ years of clinical experience in Emergency Department triage and remote patient assessment. I’ve managed symptom-based triage, red flag screening, and patient prioritization, using ABCDE and urgency scales while keeping clear clinical documentation in EHR/EMR.

In my current work as a Volunteer Nurse at Kawolo General Hospital, I perform ER triage for 30+ patients daily and support a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment. Previously at Al Manara Recruitment Agency in Dubai, I delivered remote assessment and guidance via phone and WhatsApp, documented interventions in EHR, and educated patients on medication adherence and self-care, plus I provided telephone counseling and triage for Sexual Reproductive Health and HIV clients at Marie Stopes Uganda.
