Josephat Otieno

I've delivered secure, scalable software at Usalama Technology Limited, including a Church Management System supporting financial transactions, communications, and administration across multiple churches.

I built Angular and Django solutions for stock tracking, loan-performance reporting, and Ideon CRM messaging workflows. By optimizing SQL queries, indexing, and caching, I improved API response times by 35% while supporting high-volume transactions, and strengthened security controls to reduce identified vulnerabilities by 40%.

At Elewa Company Limited, I develop production-ready web applications and AI-assisted solutions across client and internal projects. I build reusable Angular components for the Goodless sustainability platform and use AI agent skills and MCP tooling to streamline issue investigation for Syndic4You / Syndic Yourself.

My foundation also includes maintaining biometric, network, and ICT infrastructure for Kenya's Ministry of Lands and Planning, where I helped reduce network downtime by 25% and maintained biometric-system uptime above 98%.
