At Universidad de Costa Rica’s Space Research Center (CINESPA), I validate scientific data-processing results as IDL routines are migrated to Python, using synthetic and real FITS observations to identify discrepancies. I maintain shared research code with Git and communicate findings through Power BI reports and technical visualizations.
At the Geophysical Research Center (CIGEFI), I developed Python and SQL/MySQL workflows for meteorological records from heterogeneous sources, and automated recurring processing and quality controls. In projects, I built a Spark SQL analysis of U.S. hospital operations and a Python-to-DuckDB pipeline for NYC 311 requests.
