What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a team where I can own end-to-end backend and AI infrastructure—solving scale, reliability, and latency—while shipping strong observability, testing rigor, and event-driven systems that customers feel every day.

I’m a Staff Software Engineer with 10+ years building high-scale backend systems and AI-powered infrastructure. At Spotify, I’ve owned end-to-end delivery of real-time event pipelines processing 1 trillion+ events/day, LLM/RAG services powering personalized audio experiences, and the observability layer keeping it all visible.

I gravitate toward hard infrastructure problems where scale, reliability, and latency all have to be solved at once. I spearheaded Spotify’s Event Delivery Infrastructure (EDI) with tenant-isolated pipelines across 1,800+ GCP Pub/Sub topics, shipped a RAG-backed Studio AI Assistant (session time lifted ~31%), and wrote Go microservices that cut p99 latency by ~43% at 1T+/day volume. I also instrumented microservices with OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, and VictoriaMetrics to drive MTTR from ~2hr to under 50min, and led engineering mentorship for system design and cross-service integration.
