At AdventHealth, I provide pre-operative and post-anesthesia care for women and pediatric patients. I start and monitor IVs, administer pre-operative medications, and explain procedures and patients’ rights.
After surgery, I address patients’ physical and emotional needs, provide education to patients and family members, and explain incision care and any restrictions before discharge.
At Baycare Health System, I assessed and treated chronic, acute, and complex wounds. I developed individualized treatment plans, monitored for infection, and educated patients on self-care.
Earlier at AdventHealth, I worked in the OR and in ICU/PCU as a Charge Nurse. My experience also includes coordinating specialty referrals at DaVita Medical Group and supervising medical screening operations at OctaPharma Plasma.
