What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a role where I can build reliable, user-facing software and ship NLP-powered features end-to-end, collaborating cross-team while using modern frontend tech and continuously improving models and developer workflows.

I’m a Software Engineer (Level IV) at Google, currently working on Keep, a notetaking editor in Google Workspace. I focus on creating user-facing experiences that feel fast, reliable, and genuinely helpful.

Previously, I developed intelligent features for Google Workspace Editors (Docs, Slides, Keep) using client-side software expertise and natural language processing infrastructure. I used Web Assembly and Emscripten, along with Google-internal technologies like j2Cl and client-side cross-platform frameworks, to ship capabilities such as spellcheck in encrypted documents for five languages and writing style suggestions for English text.

I’m comfortable owning end-to-end technical designs, driving cross-team collaboration, and upholding software reliability practices. I also lead technical-debt resolution and documentation, and I proactively identify areas of future work—so teams can scale sustainably.

Beyond engineering, I’ve built strong NLP foundations through a Master’s thesis on paraphrase generation with a bilingual model and continuous embeddings, and earlier research on cognitive approaches to natural language processing. I’ve also supported learning as a Natural Language Processing teaching assistant, designing assignments, presenting key algorithms, and mentoring pairs of students on research projects.
