I am a dedicated, physically fit firefighter with 4 years of operational experience at Brandweer Utrecht Midden (April 2021–Present). I respond to 15–20 emergency calls per week, executing structural fire suppression with offensive and defensive tactics, and supporting emergency medical first response through BLS first aid during multi-casualty incidents.
I also lead and carry out technical rescue, including vehicle extrication with hydraulic cutting and spreading tools (Holmatro), and perform hazmat assessments using monitoring equipment while assisting decontamination procedures. I’m known for composure under pressure, strong teamwork in a ploegendienst environment, and ongoing professional development—mentoring two newly hired colleagues and maintaining readiness through inspections and drills.
