I built Kamba, a Django and Django REST Framework gateway for Safaricom Daraja payments that provides exactly-once webhook processing, automatic payment recovery, unified event schemas, and signed event delivery.
I deployed Kamba as a modular monolith using PostgreSQL, Redis, Celery, and Docker Compose. My medical microbiology background strengthens my approach to data integrity, protocol adherence, systematic troubleshooting, and correctness in edge cases.
