John Kenner Delos Reyes

I’m a Software QA Automation Lead and Software QA Engineer with 10+ years of experience delivering end-to-end Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) across web, software, and hardware-related projects. I own test planning, test case design, execution, defect management, reporting, and release validation—so quality is measurable and release-ready.

At Owens Asia (Team Lead, August 2019 – Present), I led QA initiatives from requirement analysis through production readiness. I designed and implemented the organization’s first QA automation framework from the ground up using CodeceptJS and Cucumber (BDD), improving regression testing efficiency and establishing a sustainable automation strategy.

I build automation that teams can actually use: I developed automation standards, mentored QA engineers, and trained team members to build, maintain, and expand the automation suite. I also conduct functional, regression, UI/UX, and cross-browser testing, along with API testing (Postman) and database validation (SQL) to verify data integrity and backend processing.

I further strengthen reliability through performance and load testing using JMeter, and I manage the defect lifecycle in Jira from logging to triage, prioritization, retesting, and root cause analysis. Previously at Cloudstaff (Software QA Engineer II, February 2012 – July 2019), I supported 20+ client projects, led and mentored a team of four, and helped stakeholders with test documentation, status reporting, and risk communication.
