Worked with 37 adult learners with no prior coding experience to provide them with the skills to become full stack web developers. Helped create a curriculum that included Javascript, HTML and CSS, React, Node, Express, PostgreSQL, and other modern web technologies.

Worked with kids to build game-design related skills. This role focused on fostering creativity and technical abilities in a fun, interactive environment.

Built a curriculum to introduce middle school students to Adobe Creative Suite and foundational coding concepts. Taught students how to use a 3D printer and CNC laser cutter.

Designed robotics and coding projects for kids that were used by over 30 teachers in in-person and remote classes with hundreds of students around the county. Taught kids from ages 5 - 14 hands-on electronics skills, and taught coding to 9 - 14 year olds.

Helped to build and maintain the React-based frontend for an ad-tracking tool used by major companies including Mondelez, Johnson & Johnson, and Pepsico. Collaborated with a team to ensure high performance and responsiveness of the application.

Designed and developed a homepage for students to browse language courses (fluentcity.com). Designed interactive online quizzes to assess students’ progress, supporting a language education program with more than 40,000 students enrolled.

Built interactive promotional websites for clients including HBO and Google, working mainly with React and Django. Collaborated with design and backend teams to deliver engaging web experiences.

Completed an immersive software development course with a 3% acceptance rate. The program had a strong emphasis on full-stack development and collaboration, with a technology focus on Ruby on Rails and React.

Completed a Bachelor of Arts with a dual major in History and English. Wrote a senior thesis in History on 'Politics of Power in the Inca Civil War' and a senior thesis in English titled 'The Year of the Rat,' an original short story collection.
