Reimagining economic policies for environmental challenges to make the world a healthier place
What I'm looking for
I am a recent economics graduate from the University of Connecticut with a personal interest in environmental analysis, resource economics, adaptive reuse, and sustainable systems. I’m driven to apply data, economic insight, and practical solutions to help shape more resilient communities, support responsible development, and guide the transition toward a more sustainable future. My approach to tackling complex problems involves digging into the raw data, identifying externalities, and uncovering the overlooked variables that influence outcomes across environmental, financial, and logistical networks. Some highlights of my growing career include: collecting data and designing the 10-K filing at Bloomin’ Brands as a Financial Reporting Intern, supporting public disclosures for a $2.8B company; analyzing watershed dynamics of Roberts Brook and the Fenton River system at UConn using GIS tools, hydrological data, and environmental risk modeling; orchestrating river cleanups and other charitable events in my communities; exploring sustainable food systems by working at Bonefish Grill, where I gained insight into locally sourced seafood and restaurant supply chains; developing an EV sustainability case study on GE’s supply chain, focusing on long-term cost savings and environmental impact; building proficiency in ArcGIS, Python, Excel, Power BI, and platforms like Wix, Squarespace, and Carrd for analysis, mapping, visualization, and brand creation; and leading high-risk outdoor expeditions as an Eagle Scout and troop leader, emphasizing planning, preparedness, and environmental awareness.
What motivates me most are the ideas (whether my own or from others ) that reimagine how finance and nature can work together rather than against each other. I’m eager to apply economics to real environmental challenges, from land use and water systems to energy and agriculture. I know there’s still a lot to learn, and I’m excited to keep growing. I’m curious, adaptable, and ready to contribute wherever I can make a difference and establish roots.
If you're working in environmental planning, economic development, resource analysis (or if any of this resonates with you) I’d love to connect. Message me here on LinkedIn or reach me at [email protected]
