I've built grid-scale energy control software at Wärtsilä, splitting GEMS controller software into microservices and optimizing runtime performance for Battery Management Systems scaling from 250MWh to 1GWh and above.
I built Python tools to automate PLC firmware updates across thousands of devices and analyze MODBUS-aware controller packet data for performance percentiles and production root-cause analysis. I also improved BMS configuration maintainability by refactoring a recursive XML and JSON DSL processor and writing 175 tests.
Previously at Chainbridge Solutions, I designed automated application and infrastructure deployment with AWS, Docker, Jenkins, and Git. I built CI pipelines for container images, automated testing, and security scans, and delivered PaaS solutions using entellitrak and ServiceNow.
My earlier work spans enterprise Java applications for MicroPact, Altron, eCompex, and Western Washington University, including systems for DoD and USAID projects. I also build personal products and games, including a Django e-commerce site and Android and Unity space games.
