Joel Afeku

I am a Computer Engineering graduate with hands-on experience building Excel systems, providing IT support, and coordinating creative projects. I focus on practical solutions that improve operational efficiency and data visibility.

In workplace roles I have designed dynamic Excel dashboards, automated reporting processes, and reduced reporting turnaround significantly while training staff to increase adoption. I also supported network stability and documented troubleshooting workflows during an IT internship.

My project work includes a mobile crop disease detection system using machine learning and leading data collection for a self-driving vehicle research initiative. These projects sharpened my data collection, validation, and applied-ML collaboration skills.

I contribute as a volunteer graphic design assistant producing materials for advocacy campaigns and improving visual consistency across channels. I’m adaptable, proactive, and eager to join impact-driven teams where I can apply technical problem-solving and remote collaboration strengths.
