What I'm looking for

I’m looking for remote backend or applied AI roles where I can work with Python, FastAPI, APIs, integrations, SQL, reliability, observability, and data-intensive systems. I’m especially interested in teams that value measurable engineering decisions, testing, reproducibility, clear technical trade-offs, and ownership of systems from implementation through deployment and monitoring.

I’m a backend engineer focused on Python, FastAPI, API integrations, automation, applied AI, reliability, and data-intensive systems. My work combines software engineering with operational data transformation, reproducibility, and measurable system behavior.

I designed and deployed AI API Observability, a FastAPI service integrating external APIs and AI providers with retries/backoff, request tracing, structured logging, HMAC-SHA256 webhooks, SQL telemetry, token/cost tracking, Docker, GitHub Actions CI, and 38 automated tests. Controlled load experiments identified a SQLite persistence bottleneck and measured a ~3.7–4.4x improvement in successful-write throughput after testing WAL with persistent worker-local connections.

I also completed a Python research-engineering program on conformal prediction for chaotic systems. The project uses preregistered experiments, mechanical validation gates, resilient checkpointing, SHA-256 provenance, CI verification, and cross-platform reproducibility.

Professionally, at CIAPE I worked on programming, database structuring, digitization, and validation workflows for academic and institutional records. At INEMA I supported digital transformation by migrating, standardizing, and cleaning operational data to improve traceability and reduce manual handling.
