Work history, roles, and key accomplishments
Development of a Functional Lower Limb Knee Model
Feb 2026 - Jul 2026 (5 months)
Designed and developed an anatomically accurate, interactive lower-limb knee model for the study and teaching of anatomy and patellofemoral instability. The project integrated medical image segmentation (CT and MRI), 3D modelling, additive manufacturing, and shape memory alloy actuation technologies to simulate knee biomechanics and pathological conditions associated with patellofemoral instabilit
Development of an Autonomous Prosthetic Knee for Anatomy Education
Feb 2025 - Jun 2025 (4 months)
This project focused on creating an interactive prosthetic knee model to support anatomical learning. Building on an anatomically accurate 3D printed knee previously designed, this model integrates a single-acting pneumatic piston, controlled via Arduino to replicate quadriceps extension, a fully operational electric-pneumatic circuit, and custom 3D-printed fittings for actuator integration. Exploring and Printing of a 3D Model of the Knee Joint With Different Materials
Mar 2024 - Jul 2024 (4 months)
This project focused on creating an accurate 3D model of the human knee joint to aid in student education, patient-doctor communication, and surgical planning. Using CT scans, the knee joint bones were segmented and modeled in 3D, while soft tissues like the meniscus and ligaments were digitally sculpted. The final models were printed in different materials to simulate the joint's mechanical prope
