What I'm looking for

I’m seeking a Health Records and Information Officer position where I can apply my knowledge and practical skills in health records management, information technology, data management, medical coding and electronic medical records while contributing to efficient healthcare service delivery.

At Murang’a Level 5 County Referral Hospital, I completed a six-month practical attachment as a Health Records & Information Technology Trainee, registering patients and capturing their demographic and clinical information.

I used Electronic Medical Records (EMR) to enter, retrieve and update patient information, and managed physical and electronic records through filing, retrieval, tracing and archiving.

I also assisted with data verification, billing and insurance claims documentation, and coding and indexing diagnoses using ICD-10/ICD-11 coding concepts. I’m seeking a Health Records and Information Officer position where I can apply my skills in health records management, data management and electronic medical records to contribute to efficient healthcare service delivery.
