I am a Portuguese physician specialized in public health with hands-on experience in urgent care, pre-travel medicine, and public health preparedness. I have worked in hospital urgent care settings, outpatient clinics, telehealth platforms and public health units, bridging clinical practice and population health.

My achievements include authorship of a local preparedness and response plan for Aedes albopictus-transmitted diseases, participation in WHO Collaborating Centre activities implementing the Patient Safety Essentials course, and a published epidemiological study on travelers' diarrhea following pre-travel consultations.
