At NXP Semiconductors, I characterise automotive radar ICs through RF measurement, data analysis and Python-based automation, and support CMOS radar validation across RF, analogue and digital domains. I’ve also proposed a socket-level one-port calibration method for non-standard RF interfaces.
My work has ranged from microwave metrology at the National Physical Laboratory to mmWave radar, satellite communications, defence and quantum hardware. At MMIC Solutions Ltd., I developed a mode-suppression technique for MMIC packaging that was protected by two granted patents, and contributed to the E-band transceiver platform that became the foundation of Filtronic’s flagship product family.
