Jessica Ody

I am an aspiring medical administrative professional completing a Medical Administrative Assistant, Coding, and Billing certification (in progress, expected finish in October). I bring hands-on clinical experience from veterinary and chiropractic settings, where I supported procedures, handled records, and assisted patients directly.

In veterinary roles I assisted with surgery and dental procedures, prepared medications, ran appointments, took vitals, and informed clients about medical care. In chiropractic work I supported treatments, set up patients for therapies, managed patient charts, ordered supplies, and handled reception duties including scheduling and payments.

My exposure to insurance and billing in the chiropractic office sparked my interest in the administrative side of healthcare and led me to pursue formal certification. I am a dependable team player with strong communication, time-management, and problem-solving skills, and knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.

I am motivated, compassionate, and committed to helping patients navigate billing and coding accurately and efficiently while maintaining high-quality work and professionalism.
