@jessicah
Computer science student specializing in AI, data-driven solutions, and inclusive technology leadership.
What I'm looking for
I am a computer science student at the University of Massachusetts Boston focused on AI, data analytics, and inclusive product design. I combine coursework in data structures, calculus, and linear algebra with hands-on projects using logistic regression, LSTMs, and BERT to solve real-world problems in finance and accessibility.
I have been selected for Microsoft's Emerging Leaders Program and serve as an Inspirit A.I Ambassador, where I design predictive analytics workflows and lead workshops to communicate AI benefits. My projects include a wheelchair accessibility extension concept for maps and financial market prediction models that supported analyst decision-making.
Outside technical work, I coach chess, mentor students from underrepresented groups through ColorStack and Women in Computer Science, and conduct participatory action research documenting BIWOC computing students' experiences. I prioritize creating inclusive, practical technology and fostering the next generation of diverse technical talent.
